sable cream mare Mocha

Mocha has a champagne gene acting on a seal brown base coat (sable champagne). She has also tested positive for the cream dilute gene and so is a sable cream. This means she should produce about 75% dilute foals by non-dilute stallions. Mocha is also tested and confirmed to be negative for the lethal white overo (LWO) gene, so is a safe cross for overo paint stallions. She is one of only 3 "sable cream champagnes" currently known and registered with ICHR, world-wide and breed-wide! Her first foal was a nicely built sable champagne filly.

A special thankyou to Tara of Rising Moon Ranch, Scottsdale, Arizona for sharing this and the following photos of her superb and unusual horses. She will shortly have two classic dun (or grullo champagne) stallions at stud.
