Ashwood’s Angel

classic champagne dun Ashwood’s Angel

Angel is another classic dun (champagne grullo) genetically tested and confirmed to have a black-base coat (Ee AaAa) and negative for Lethal White Overo (LWO). Angel was the first "classic dun" dual registered with AQHA and ICHR. She also qualified with NFQHA (82% foundation) and is now triple-tegistered. Her 2005 filly Lani, who has got her mother's great looks, has been tested to be classic champagne. Her owner describes Angel as having a “great conformation with a beautiful head and nicely muscled build, a quiet friendly disposition, and some awesome bloodlines”.

A special thankyou to Tara of Rising Moon Ranch, Scottsdale, Arizona for sharing this and the following photos of her superb and unusual horses. She will shortly have two classic dun (or grullo champagne) stallions at stud.
